| Sheet
Thickness Selection
Sheet thickness of 5mm, 6mm are suitable
for ceiling, eaves / soffit lining.
When used as wall lining, general cladding
and gable end. Ecpmax must be of a minimum thickness of 6mm (or 9mm)
depending on the height of the building and local wind codes.

The above table stipulates the minimum
framing requirement. In all cases, ensure all sheet edges are supported on
proper framing.
Support face width:
- Timber 50mm minimum
- Steel 35mm minimum
Framing timber should bee thoroughly dried
and selected to minimize shrinkage when sheets are installed.
Steel frame thickness should be 0.55mm Base
Metal Thickness (BMT)
Fastener Fixing
Distance
Ecomax should be fixed with fasterner at
minimum of 12mm from board edge and 50mm from board corner.
Maximum fasterner spacing at board edges
200mm and Maximum fastener spacing at intermediated locations are 300mm.
Ecomax ceiling,
eaves and soffit linings
The exceptionally flat and smooth surface
finishes, have made Ecomax an ideal choice
for wet area walls and ceilings. Ecomax is
very stable such that it is resistant to sagging over a long period of
time. Ecomax can also be used in external
ceilings.
Ecomax Impact
and Moisture Resistant Wall Linings
Fiber reinforced Ecomax
is very durable and strong. It has been tested to take very strong impact
load. Suitable for partition in hospital corridors, hotel lobbies, schools
and various public areas.
