Framing
- Wall framing shall be steel stud framing system, type WS-358.
- C-Shaped studs with 1 1/4" height of flanges, hot-dip
galvanized and complying with ASTM C645 standard.
Web of studs shall be prepunched with 'Bracer' device for placing bracer channels and
studs shall be in one continuous length.
- Runners shall be formed in U-shaped configuration, having web depth
compatible with those of the studs of the same nominal size. Besides, runners shall be
designed such that when the studs are placed in both the top and bottom runners, they
shall be held by friction. Height of flange shall be 1".
- Studs and Runners shall be manufactured form steel having a minimum
vase metal thickness (BMT) of 0.8mm and having a protective zinc coating (Z 22) conforming to JIS G3302
standard.
